WE INVITE YOU…

To imagine the world of tomorrow, where CO2 would be captured at the source
to be recycled, chimneys would no longer emit smoke

To create a high-performing industry that reduces its environmental footprint

To contribute day by day to the rebuilding of our nature
*CO2 from combustion processes accounts for 47% of global emissions.

The CARBOdown® technology

has been designed to revolutionize the industrial approach to CO2.
It is targeted at industries of all sectors that use boilers or furnaces.

It’s a capture system that decarbonizes any existing equipment using combustion.
It adapts to existing equipment, not the other way around, for significantly minimized OPEX and CAPEX.

This technology is the result of 11 years of Research and Development conducted by the Starklab-Terrao group, offering a revolutionary heat and matter exchanger to the market since 2011 that acts against air pollution related to industrial and human activities.

With CARBOdown®, the decarbonization of hot gas emissions is now accessible to any site emitting carbon emissions.
The process involves replacing the combustion air with synthetic air composed of pure oxygen and CO2 obtained by looping the fumes.

Indeed, a large part of the fumes exiting the combustion system is looped back to the entry after being washed and dehumidified, to replace the usual nitrogen in the air with CO2. The part of the CO2 that has not been looped is directed towards the compression system to deliver CO2 concentrated to over 95%.

As a condenser, washer, and CO2 concentrator, CARBOdown® integrates three complementary functions to eliminate all gaseous emissions into the atmosphere.

All components of the fumes are managed by the system:
The heat is used on-site or in a heat network, pollution is trapped in the washing water, and the CO2 is entirely captured to be stored.

A unique feature on the market, the CARBOdown® process can be stopped at any time to return to a normal mode of the boiler or furnace, without service interruption.

This advantage allows the industrialist to easily modulate CO2 emissions based on the production cost of oxygen.

CARBOdown®, already validated by an operational pilot, applies to all sites using combustion processes for heating, drying, and more.

This is a significant advance that provides industries the opportunity to quickly contribute to the fight against global warming.

Fumes = Thermal Energy + Pollutants + Water + CO2

The heat is reused in situ, pollutants are washed, water is treated for a futher use and CO2 is captured to be stored or reused.

The CO2 is valorized through a network of partners in a turnkey solution
to both excel and participate in the world of tomorrow.

With CARBOdown®, CO2 goes from being
an environmental issue to a highly recyclable by-product.

This innovation, conceived in France, is manufactured
in our Coudekerque factory (59) and sold worldwide.
